EUROMAT Expands Country and Corporate Membership

The European Gaming and Amusement Federation (EUROMAT) is pleased to welcome a new member association on board – the Irish Amusement Trades Association (I.A.T.A.). IATA re-joins EUROMAT as it ramps up its own national campaign for new gambling laws in Ireland. As well as expanding its national association membership, the association’s corporate membership category continues to grow with the addition of Merkur Gaming. As the international sales and development brand of adp Gauselmann GmbH, Merkur Gaming is part of the world famous Gauselmann Group. The federation now counts a total of 18 national member associations from 12 European countries in addition to its 4 corporate members. Commenting on the news, EUROMAT President, Jason Frost, said: “It is a ringing endorsement of EUROMAT and the value it offers to members to be bringing IATA back into the fold after a number of years. It is also hugely encouraging for our corporate membership category that we now have one of the biggest names in our industry as part of EUROMAT”. John Roche, General Secretary of Irish Amusement Trades Association (I.A.T.A) said: “It is essential for us that we have an ability to connect with and learn from our peers in the industry from across Europe. As we make our own case at national level for legal certainty in Ireland, it is important that we can count on the support of industry colleagues Europe wide”. Athanasios Isaakidis, Chief Executive, International and Head of International Product Management at adp Gauselmann GmbH said: “It is natural that we would seek to have a closer relationship with EUROMAT. It is a great source of regulatory insight and market data which is so valuable from a business perspective. With a growing profile and expanding membership to match, it is an exciting time to be part of EUROMAT”.
